Overview
Learners gain the knowledge and confidence to respond to common medical emergencies and injuries. The course covers CPR, choking, trauma management (burns, fractures, soft-tissue injuries, poisoning) and medical emergencies, plus anaphylaxis awareness. Meets WorkSafe NZ requirements and provides a two-year Foundation First Aid certificate.
What you'll learn
This course delivers the following NZQA unit standards — 3 credits in total. Every unit is reported to NZQA on successful completion.
