Overview
Basic Life Support is a 4-hour course based on NZQA unit standard 6402. It focuses on CPR, choking and controlling life-threatening bleeding. All learners are assessed on CPR for adults, children and infants, choking, and controlling severe bleeding and treatment of shock. Meets WorkSafe NZ requirements; certificate valid for 2 years.
