A practical, two-day introduction to barista work — covering everything from coffee origins and bean production to espresso preparation and milk texturing. Learners gain hands-on experience producing quality drinks while building industry knowledge and confidence.
What you'll learn
This course delivers the following NZQA unit standards — 7 credits in total. Every unit is reported to NZQA on successful completion.

Is this an NZQA-recognised course?
Yes. ITS is an NZQA Category 1 provider (#7837) — the highest rating in New Zealand. On completion we report your unit standards directly to NZQA.
How do I pay?
After you enrol or enquire and we confirm your place, you'll receive a secure online payment link — pay by card in a couple of clicks. Group and employer bookings receive a single invoice with 14-day terms.
What's included?
All learning and assessment materials, marking, an e-certificate on completion, NZQA reporting where applicable, and one free re-sit if you need it. Prices are excl. GST, per person.
